We don’t have to do it alone.
We were never meant to.
-Brené Brown
Welcome to my practice. It takes courage to ask for help and you have taken the first step to invest in yourself. We all struggle from time-to-time. Having someone by our side while we figure things out can make all the difference. Our world is experiencing great challenges and many are feeling isolated, anxious, afraid, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Our reactions to stressful situations are often based on our life experiences so everyone feels different. Whether you just need a few sessions to get you back on track or you need long-term therapy, you are in the right place. I’m glad you are here – Danielle
Therapy Approach
I believe we do the best we can based on what we’ve learned from important relationships and situations. We feel distress when what we’ve learned no longer works and our coping skills get overwhelmed. With the right conditions, growth can occur. I provide a safe and supportive space that encourages expressing yourself so that you gain greater self-awareness. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of your needs in relationship to yourself and others. Along this journey, healing occurs that offers new perspective taking.
We’ll explore and set goals together that help you achieve the outcomes you seek. I use a culturally-informed lens that considers how identity impacts mental health, especially for those who experience marginalization. I welcome and affirm clients from across the spectrums of ethnicity, sexuality, gender, ability, spirituality, and class.
Every person needs something different, so I draw from several approaches. I commonly use client-centered, interpersonal process (IPT), cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), and cognitive processing (CPT) therapies. Please reach out if you have an interest in a particular type of therapy.

Services Offered
Individual Counseling
I offer one-to-one services to those who are facing a range of personal issues and mental health concerns. You will be able to express yourself confidentiality and receive support. Individual counseling increases awareness and insight into the ways we think, feel, and behave and provides coping strategies to manage the challenges we face. When we better understand ourselves and the situations we are in, we are able to have deeper, more meaningful relationships with others. It can be a life-changing experience.
Couple's Counseling
Couple’s Counseling is for those in any type of partnership who would like support for resolving conflict, improving communication, addressing broken trust, negotiating life transitions, and developing deeper intimacy. Those who participate in couple’s counseling are better able to express their own needs and understand the needs of their partner. Couple’s work can also help manage difficult feelings and make good decisions when ending relationships.
